Nearby Silver Lake Park is a great place to go for a walk, go fishing, or take the boat out on the water. And many Dover residents head up to the north end of the city to catch Delaware State Hornets sports games.

Dover isn’t short on natural beauty either, from the St. Jones River that flows from Silver Lake to the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge a few minutes north of the city. All these attractions and more make Dover a lovely place to live or to visit.
